Driven by the number of offshore fields that are reaching maturity (productive lives), the national regulations and international treaties currently in place (or to be made mandatory) and the safety and environmental concerns of shut down facilities;  the demand for decommissioning platforms, pipelines and other subsurface facilities services and expertise will continue to rise.  REAL is targeting decommissioning to be one of its main challenges that it is prepared to undertake for its Clients.
