REAL’s resources will be able to assist competently in the design of the pipelay system including all the handling and pipelaying systems required for S-Lay vessels. This capability extends to design of stingers as well. We are capable of performing optimization studies for the pipe ramp and stinger profile to maximize the capability of any lay vessel being designed.

We are also able to perform pipe handling equipment layout, optimization of deck space, optimization of other equipment related to pipelaying such as A & R winch, mooring winch, pipe handling equipment layout, etc.

REAL is capable of performing dynamic motion analyses to obtain the ROA of the vessel and perform mooring analysis to determine the vessels operating envelope.
